'I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink,

I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me,

I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me'

                                                                                                 (Matthew 25:35-36).

Christian Renewal Church is privileged to be the only church that is able to visit the inmates at the Glynn County Detention Center twice a year

…the Wednesday before Christmas and before Mothers Day.

At Christmas we share Christmas Cards colored   and personalized by the students of Heritage Christian Academy, Christian literature and home-baked cookies made by members of our church family. For Mothers Day we take pre-stamped Mothers Day cards, Christian literature and home-baked cookies. We usually prepare for 500 inmates and it takes great effort by our entire church body to “get it done!” That adds up to A LOT of cookies--with up to12 per bag!

Updated information is posted in the weekly bulletin during these times.

"The behavior of the inmates is much improved after the visits from the ministry teams of Christian Renewal Church."
